An exceptional experience from your first visit and continued throughout your on-going care.

Consultation

The consultation establishes an understanding of your lifestyle, hearing related needs and expectations. A detailed hearing case history is completed, providing an accurate foundation before evaluation.

Evaluation

An initial otoscopic evaluation will provide a visual examination of your outer ear and tympanic membrane (ear drum). A series of comprehensive tympanometric and audiometric tests will be performed. Results from your evaluation and consultation will aid in the recommendation of treatment options and solutions.

Treatment Options

The type, shape and degree of results are documented on an audiogram and will indicate whether a hearing impairment is present. Provided no underlying medical conditions exist or abnormalities are discovered. Several options attempting to select the most appropriate solution available will be explored. If a solution requires selecting a hearing aid or hearing protection, an appointment will be scheduled for dispensing.

Dispensing

At dispensing, a thorough understanding on how to use the device and its accessories will be provided. Your hearing aids will be programmed and adjusted for comfort and clarity. Instructions on use, maintenance and care will be delivered with a focus on keeping the device functioning at an optimal level. Once comfortable, a follow up visit is booked between 1 and 4 weeks depending on experience level.

Fitting Follow Up

Obtaining optimal results continues well after dispensing. Specific listening situations are addressed, going over any potential adjustments and modifications. Additional instructions may be given with regards to maintenance and product features. Performance and objectives are reviewed and specifically tailored to a client’s program of care.

Program of Care

Every client’s hearing related needs, lifestyle and expectations are unique. After the primary follow up visit, a program of care is tailored to every individual.
